Breaking bad is an American TV drama where the main character's son is disabled. He has cerebral palsy. They represent this through him using crutches. They use him struggling with everything as a stereotype of his disability. They also us him getting angry when he cant do things as a stereotype of his disability.
Sheldon is the Big Bang theory has Asperger's and this is shown through his awkwardness and his lack of social skills. This is a stereotype for people with asperges because not all people are like that some have no problem with socialising. But they have made this a big part of his character and this has made him who he is.
This is Becky Jackson of the glee club and she has down's
This is Brick of the middle and he has autism. They show this because he repeats everything he says with a whisper and they use the stereotype of autistic people being really clever and he is really mature and clever for his age because when he goes too school he is more advanced than the rest of the people.

Representation of age in Humans
The guy in the clip which is being talked about is called George Millican and he suffers from memory loss which is the first way of showering the representation of age. This is a stereotype of older people that they have bad memory. This is represented through Mise-en-scene. Another way Mise-en-scene shows the representation of age is because when he is counting the pills the sound of them is really loud which is emphasising there is so many and that is another stereotype of elder people because they have a lot of medication. Also a stereotype of elder people is getting annoyed at small things and when the door bell rings he drops his pills which shows he is weak and old but also that he is annoyed, these are both stereotypes of old people.

Downtown Abbey
Camera- They use point of view shot when speaking to the lady about the telegram which shows that the man... They also use establishing shot which is when they use a shot of the set or setting to set the scene. In this case it is a shot of the building which shows the status of the family and shows they upper class and wealthy. This is a juxtaposition to inside though because they have all of the workers walking round in scruffy clothes. They use a hand held camera when the lad is on a bike because he is late and the shake of the camera is him rushing and being scared and this shows his little power because if one of the lady's or lords was late they wouldn't panic because people work round them. They use low angle view when the Lord is walking down the stairs to show his power because it showing we and everyone else is under him and this shows the workers class in society.
Sound- They use diegetic sound, the workers have a common voice which shows their class in society where as the family have a proper English language and this shows their class in society and their status over their workers. Synchronous sound is used to show status because when the bells ring all of workers jump up and start working and stop doing what they are doing for themselves, this is because they work around the other people which shows who has the power. Non diegetic sound is used when the workers are speaking but their face isn't in the picture isn't in the screen which shows to the audience that their voice/ opinion isn't wanted/ viewed because when the Lord and Lady speak their face is always in the shot which shows they have the power and the workers aren't brushed aside and aren't listened too which shows their place in society.
Editing- Fast paced editing is used too show the rush the workers are under when the bell rings because they are all lower in the pecking order so they have to work to the speed of their master. On the other hand they use slow motion when the Lord is walking down the stairs to emphasise his importance and to show that he has the power. They use continuity editing because the camera is always on someone important and rarely on the workers which shows that he is more important, where as the workers are brushed aside and forgot about, they aren't meant to be seen or heard they don't have an opinion, they are just their to serve. Shallow focus is used when the woman is behind the man after he told her about the telegram, this is because time has stopped and they are thinking about what to do which is a counter stereotype because the powerful people are meant to have an idea/ explanation for everything but they didn't know what to do.
Mise-en-scene- The costumes that the characters wear is a big example of showing class and status because all of the workers are wearing scruffy old clothes and the Lord and Lady are wearing suits and posh clothes which shows who has the power, money and a higher class status. The lighting in the clip is an example of class because all of the workers are downstairs and the lighting is very low which shows they are in the dark and have no power but upstairs they have lots of light and shows they are bright and they have lots of power. Talking about being downstairs the layout of the set shows power because the important people are upstairs and the workers are downstairs which shows they are lower than the people upstairs.

Luther analysis
Camera- Shallow focus on Ian when Luther has a gun to his head to show that all of the power is in Luther hands. This is like the stereotype that younger people have the power and are more dangerous than elder middle aged people.
When Alice comes in to save Luther at the end of the clip the camera gains focus and stops shaking and this shows that she is bringing peace and control to the situation which again shows that the younger people are filling the stereotype of being in control over elder people. This is a counter stereotype because she is a women and she is saving the man and this is not seen as the norm.
When Ian stabs Luther they use a canted angle and point of view shot which shows that Ian is in control which is a binary opposite because the opposite is happening to before.
Editing- In this clip they use shot-revers-shot when one character is looking at the other who isn't in the shot, this is because one of them is always below which sows where the power is.
They used fast paced editing in this scene which is where there is loads of shots and angles shown one after each other and this is to show that everything is moving fast and that the tension is high and every small movement is picked up because they are twitchy and this, when Alice comes in to the scene the shots slow upland this is a counter stereotype because she brings peace and control to the situation.
Sound- They use synchronous sound when Luther has the gun to Ian's head because he is head and is quivering, they also use it when Luther gets stabbed he is stuttering which shows that he is scared and in pain and this is a counter stereotype that older people are more powerful and dangerous than younger people.
They also use synchronous sound when Alice actually shoots Ian and this is a counter stereotype because we always associate murders with men but she has just shot him in cold blood.
They use asynchronous sound when the tension is high between Luther and Ian when they introduce Alice to the situation because we don't expect it and this is a stereotype because we don't expect a woman in a dangerous situation or to be dangerous which she is so it is a counter stereotype.
They use music because it builds tension and it adds tension to the scene because the music gets louder and this is making you think that it is coming to the end, in this case the end of Ian's life but then the music goes back down when Allison comes back as she restores peace and calmness.
Mise-en scene- They are wearing suits because this is the stereotypical powerful man in London and when alice comes in she she is wearing black smart clothes which is a counter stereotype because she is portraying a powerful person in London and because she is a woman this is against the norm.
They use a gun as a prom to show where the power is and alice has it which is a counter stereotype because in a room of 2 men and 1 woman they would expect the men to have the power.

Music Video
This music video has girls in leotards which are very provocative and they are all dancing but in a very sexy way. It includes a lot of tweaking and squatting.
A gaze is how an audience views the people presented. A male gaze is how men look at women, how women look at themselves and own other women look at each other.
In this the men will be looking at females and how they dress and associating them as sexy or sexualised manor. This is mainly because of the lack of clothing they are wearing and to a heterosexual man the less the better in most cases. The women are admired for their physical appearance.

Most of the shots in the music video are taken from a low point of view to focus on one thing. This is using either a point of view camera view or steadicam.
The whole through the music video they perform moves which makes their bum's stick and they do it slowly to draw their eye to the attention. They also perform the actions in slow motions because this is like performing sexual acts.

There are times in the music video when we get close up shots of many different areas which are used to attract the attention of the audience.
This is an aerial shot which is on top and this is used so that you get a whole body view and the women's head is tilted backwards which shows her breasts which draws the audience's attention.

There a parts in it where the dancers close there eyes and have their moths open slightly which is trying to show that they are orgasming or taking part in a sexual act which is just for the audience.
There is another bit where they hold their hips and thrust to imitate a sexual act.
The whole time through the video they are rubbing their hands up and down their body which shows that they are trying to show someone is feeling them up which attracts the audiences attention.
There is a point where one of them towel's themselves down and this is performed slowly and seductively which is trying to lure the audience in.
The actors all have like facial expressions and heavy breathing to show as if they were having sex to create an image in the head then she brushes the towel over her private area to draw the men's attention there and create another image in their head.
They then hold their bum why they bend over and slap it which is to draw the audiences attention there and too imitate that someone is doing it too them.
The dancers bite their lip a lot to try and show that the actors are all interested and trying to cause sexual imagery in the mind.
Then at the end the only guy in their and the teacher of the class come together and get pretty close to show that they are into each other and show maybe why the man is there.
